Yes Female & "Anyone" to put their life in jeopardy to save our freedoms is qualified a hero to me. first woman flyer was in 1911. First Navy Female pilot who was U.S. Military to welcome female aviators. That was in 1974 Captain Rosemary Mariner. Not easy fighting any wars. No "wars" would be my choice as many a resolution of peace.
