That scenario is very plausible at least in the short term. If the midterms go as predicted, there will be a republican majority in both houses of Congress and Biden, if he does not resign, will likely be impeached. That leaves Kamala Harris as president. If she does not resign, she will likely be impeached but she will be president until that happens.

@TexChik What specific duties did Harris ignore? There's no specific constitutional article that covers immigration. The Senate has approved and Presidents have signed numerous treaties that cover the influx of foreigners into the country. Please list the specific laws or treaties that she has ignored. And list the constitutional article that says that the Vice President is responsible for border control.

@Diotrephes does it matter? The libs impeached Trump for nonsense they made up to protect their money laundering scheme and for fake Russia collusion that Hillary made up. After the midterms the conservatives can use their imagination. Doesn’t matter, they just have to vote that wretch out.
