@KunsanVeteran Ironically, the US and Canada were on the same page during the Biden years: cooperate to support the EV industry in North America, and that includes the introduction of both countries of a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs and Chinese EV parts.

This caused BYD to cancel its plans to expand its dealership network to Canada.
