He is a very intelligent man who has reduced the cost of space flight significantly.. I can think of a lot of less able people that could have been given the position..
I think the other guy Vivek Ramaswamy will be the main full time guy running the show.. Elon is probably way to busy with other things to be a full time person on the job..
