Climate change is an important political issue for me. Addressing it without crippling the economy is also. He has almost singlehandedly gotten global automakers to take EV seriously over the last 15 years. I can't name another person that's pushed a climate change agenda item farther in that same time frame. This doesn't mean I am smitten with him or think that he can do no wrong. But it means I don't hate him simply because he's successful, which is how many of his detractors come across.

@RosaMarie actually don't believe he is for climate change laws.

It's more what they call enlightened self interest. Which is all about himself and his corporations. He saw an open nitch and just took it over. That goes for Tesla, SpaceX, and now Twitter.

If he wasn't so busy ruining the planet with his desire to polute the world with his space projects, then I might say he is doing his best for the planet.

Yet everything he does is actually supporting such pollution. Including his desire to take over Twitter.

He is buying it to support himself and his own business views. Pretty much said so himself.
