I tried. I F'ing tried. God knows I tried. To give Ivanka Trump the benefit of the doubt!!!!!!... until this.......

Just read Ivanka Trumps merchandise is made in China (no surprise there) but the workers at the factory where the clothes are produced are MADE to work 60 hours a week, and are paid $62 PER WEEK.

@Ax17x7: I don't feel the same about them. They too were advantaged in moving overseas.

Economics should be local, to benefit most workers.
But it's become Global, to benefit shareholders who don't give a sh*t that hundreds or thousands of workers have been fired here, so their jobs can go for 10cents on the dollar to the lowest bidder nation.

Everyone had jobs when everything had to be produced locally. But we have been brainwashed into believing that we benefit when Walmart can sell us their made in China crap and we should rejoice that the crap is 20% less than it was at the local family owned store that used to sell something like it, but is now out of business, because sheep like to shop at Walmart.

No wonder they need us to be dumbed down!!!!!!
@CassandraFemale17: So you do feel the same about every company that out sources to Asia. Good. As long as you're consistent. I trust your shopping habits reflect that.

@Ax17x7: I buy most of my outfits from art students who study fashion manufacturing. I don't like labels. I can well afford them due to my family, but I try to buy local.

From my fridge to my closet, to my living room couch.

Unless we support each other, who will?????????
