Trump's Iowa rally was marked by heckling, protesters being escorted out and sharp exchanges as the US President made a final push for Republicans ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.
At the Five Flags Center in Dubuque on November 1, Trump was interrupted by protesters three times during his nearly two-hour speech. He dismissed them as paid protesters, while the crowd responded with boos and chants. Outside the venue, Trump supporters and demonstrators exchanged insults.
The rally also featured Trump's campaign pitch for Republican candidates, including Senate hopeful Ashley Hinson and gubernatorial candidate Zach Lahn. Trump commented on Hinson's weight loss, prompting an interruption from a protester. He spoke about the economy, gas prices, the Iran war and his administration's agenda, while warning supporters against a Democratic victory.
