Yesterday I noted that the Force Protection Condition (FPCON) at our local base had been raised to Charlie. When tRUMP’s illegal war broke out, the customary raising of the FPCON level at all bases was delayed—almost as if no one even thought to raise it. During the entirety of the Iraq & Afghanistan wars the level was elevated and was prominently posted on all bases.
“Charlie” is indicative of a more likely terror level. It includes threats of attacks in the vicinity. The only higher level is “Delta” where there is more specific intelligence about an imminent threat.
I wonder if tRUMP’s personal fear is what drove the increase.
