250 years ago, the US was founded on the ideals of freedom from the tyranny of the rich and powerful, specifically from being taxed without

representation, subjected to show trials, silenced from speaking the truth and being scrutinized without due cause.

How is that looking, these days? Has Trump protected or harmed these causes?

Our history, beginning with the Constitution and those who ratified it, is rife with people making deals which resulted in our Constitution never living up to or safeguarding the ideals in the Declaration of Independence.

Politicians and their institutions (parties) have over the ensuing decades been corrupted by power and greed. Today institutions, including both Houses are thoroughly corrupt.

The people are now mere game pieces and the result is Trump. The people are not being served, the people are serving the institution.

Wake up America, it's time we take back our government.

@plungesponge First it isn't as much breaking away from the Constitution as it's that the Constitution itself is flawed and allows the breaking away from it.

Now, to get to the heart of your specific question, it began in earnest with Trump's first Presidency, but began quietly in the 70s.
