Why do people support Donald trump?

I would like to understand the reasoning behind support for this man. Granted no politician is perfect and most politics are often corrupt. But I personally find what Donald trump stands for to be very perplexing. So could you enlighten me as to why you like him as president if you are trump supporter?

The most authentic, most transparent in memory. In a way much like Truman who was also pretty outspoken, but unlike Truman who toted the Democrat party line. To contrast the two, the Democrat party shaped Truman; with Trump, it's Trump that reshaped the Republican party. The difference is important considering the association between corruption and party politics.

Considering his victories over Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, and their support from the disinformation industry (AKA the Press, Hollywood, etc.) Trump is far better in sync with the American people and how the American People want to see America run.

The focus of his attention since elected have been right on. Tariffs, shutting down the illegal drug industry, reversing the illegal immigration disaster, corruption, etc., etc.

Trump is the man of the hour, at the right hour.

We are tired of having our tax dollars stolen and we want the invaders gone.

Do you know why costs haven't gone down?

@JackJames you need to learn the difference between invaded and conquered, what was happening while Biden was in office was an invasion what our forefathers did was conquer

Because they like p3dos
In my experience with conversations about that, it's his promises. Who wouldn't want lower costs of living, less corruption, less government involvement in private matters?

They either don't care whether he actually delivers or don't realize he does the complete opposite, either to enrich himself or because he has no clue how things work. It's the intention and goals that matter more than results because the other side hasn't accomplished much either. (Mostly because they need their entire terms fixing the mess left behind by the previous conservative administration and are voted out by the time they could have started working on actual progression.)

And finally, there's a "joke" going around that's sadly painfully true for the real diehard ones: how many Trump supporters does it take to change a lightbulb? None. He just tells them it has already been changed and they'll stand in the dark applauding him for a job well done.
