So at the White House correspondents' dinner last night

A armed man rushed a checkpoint and was taken down after shots were fired...

I'm so jaded on politics I'm wondering if Trump orchestrated it to:
1) get his approval rating up and/or
2) keep from being roasted like he was last time he was there

Thank goodness the Secret Service agent that was shot had a vest and it worked.

Remember Hungary’s recent election?

Orban was polling very poorly leading up to the election (IIRC in the 20’s) and many thought he would cancel or postpone indefinitely the election…

…then the story broke that Putin wanted tRUMP to assist in staging a fake assassination plot to boost Orban…

When that story broke, I said…guess what tRUMP will try to pull before the midterms.

Count me among those who believe it was staged…

@Pretzel I posted about it at the time. The story broke just before Orban overwhelmingly lost. He did much to my surprise actually publicly congratulate the winner and then he dropped out of sight…

I would have thought it was too soon for him to use it on himself - but I think he beleves the entire population is just so stupid he can do anything he wants.
