I won’t detail the wounds Kerry received to earn his three Purple Hearts. But I will point out that Trump “accepted a Purple Heart” from a Wounded Veteran (and I thank that veteran for HIS service) for a legitimate reason—thereby cheapening the sacrifices and services of all THE REAL Purple Heart recipients. It was that Service Members to do with as he would—but it cheapened the Purple Heart for ALL THE REAL RECIPIENTS going back many decades. Can we all please agree that Trump’s lies, empty boasts, bigotry, hatred, and vile personality should never, EVER be allowed to denigrate the valor, bravery, and service of our HONORED VETS ?!?!
