A MAGA colleague of mine texted me that while he believes tRUMP is a good person that he suffers from temporary insanity…

@Carla Carla, he is NONE of those things! He has sat at the bedside of a critically ill patient after working long hours (and he’s not young), he has lectured and mentored young professionals in training and he was their choice for best faculty, and he and I have labored together and counseled each other for years. He has a heart of pure gold—assisting at every charity, every worthy cause.

But sadly, he is representative of far too many professionals who somehow believe that Trump isn’t the lunatic that he obviously is.

I don’t understand it. But he is my Wingman and I am his. He is deceived like so many others.

But your comments about Trump are spot on.

I, at this stage of my life, just can't look past a person's commitment to donald trump. No matter the good deeds they may do. A person can have twisted beliefs, which one must have to be a trump supporter, and be benevolent when it suits them.
An intellegent person that follows trump understands his criminality, his immorality, his greed, his bigotry, misogyny, racism, his sadism...
I can't look past that.

I have compared that man to the worse people in history. Giving grace to people that just now think, because of this war, that trump has somehow cracked, would be hypocritical of me.
Too little. Too late.

Would you be OK if we took this to private messages? There is just so much more that should be shared…the Evilness of Trump is just too much for most to appreciate and how he has corrupted even the best of hearts.

It’s your decision, but my Wingman was a real patriot who put his life on the line many times. He’s not stupid, he’s not a coward, and yes I believe he’s misguided but as long as I live I will respect him because he’s earned it many, many times over.

But I feel much as you do…so much we are faced with today is simply wrong.
