@ElwoodBlues I realize it's tempting to use the same tactics as the enemy, especially given the striking resemblance of Mary and Donald, but I just got done explaining to the admins that calling Michelle a man is hate speech on multiple levels.
First, it implies that trans women are somehow lesser than biological women, because why else would it be humiliating to call Michelle trans?
Secondly, it is an intentional minimization of all of her accomplishments, because as we know, it is harder for a woman to succeed than a man, but if she was assigned male at birth, then it explains it. It also feeds into the narrative from the transphobic crowd that being trans is just about men trying to crowd into spaces belonging to women and take away from their accomplishments.
Thirdly, it is meant to diminish Mrs. Obama as a human being, stating that she is masculine in appearance (which is meant to be an insult, because anyone not conforming to traditional standards of femininity must be rejected and mocked).
These are the tools of our enemies. It is best to leave them alone.
