I hope every Trump voter living near a factory chokes and dies on the extra pollution they voted for.

Irrespective of who votes for whom, doesn't the USA have regulations to avoid or limit such serious industrial pollution?

You may already know the USA helped create the international environmental-protection accreditation, ISO 14001. That is not itself regulatory but guides national governments in creating such laws, and industries to comply with them.

As its title says, ISO14001 was created by the International Standards Organisation, including the USA as a fully paid-up member according to the ISO's own web-site - as are most countries.

Such compliance naturally benefits those in and around factories; but modern, properly-operated industrial plant should not be polluting its surroundings anyway.*

*(My own employer started working towards gaining ISO14001 recognition, in the last couple of years before I retired. Its work produces no significant "pollution" as such; but the accreditation also covers proper disposal of waste materials, and reducing electricity, gas and water consumption by more efficient use. The latter of course, is commercially beneficial too!)

@ArishMell The US federal government now has no legal means of regulating pollution to reduce global warming. It also pulled out of the Paris climate agreement.

I don’t know about ISO 14001 but looked it up and it’s voluntary.

Here is where Trump just doesnt think. Nor do any of his people, except those who want everything to go t*ts up in America. Almost everything sold into the EU and a lot of other markets comes with environmental checklists these days. Similar to the health standards on grain and food imports that have had America rejected in many markets. And what little America actually exports now may be turned away for violating those clean air and clean manufacturing standards. Of course. On the up side. All those chemical companies that had to leave America decades ago, when their production was found to be too toxic for Americans to be around can come back now.. (Remember Bhopal)😷

What factories? Trump promised to put more Americans to work but instead he's killed jobs due to his tariff fiasco.
"Drill baby Drill" 💀
