“ Clearly diminishing”: Susan Rice sounds ALARM on Trump insulting U.S. allies

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdt2J7qLHhU]

Susan Rice, former Ambassador to the United Nations and President Obama’s National Security Advisor, joins Nicolle Wallace on "The Best People." Susan Rice’s exemplary career in government and international relations has earned her a distinctive reputation as a resolute advocate for American interests on the world stage. She is keenly aware of our nation’s leadership role across the globe. So, her sober analysis of President Trump’s brazen and “widening authoritarian power grab" should be taken with the gravity she affords it. Ambassador Rice joins Nicolle to emphasize how far Trump has fallen from his campaign promises of isolationism and affordability, while underscoring that “most Americans did not sign up for reckless foreign adventures for an imperial United States.” And she lays plain that, whether bullying Greenland abroad or brutal ICE interactions here at home, Trump’s “gestapo-like tactics” are not who we are.

Isnt it amazing how Americans are now trying to distance themselves from the leader they elected TWICE? Stand up and take responsibility for gods sake.. You elected him and you left him there. He is your leader. He speaks for everyone of you..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman Actually less than half of us…and a lot of his “votes” in 2024 were likely fraudulent

@KunsanVeteran Nope. I dont accept that. If it could be proved, it would have been..No excuses this time.😷
@whowasthatmaskedman

I didn’t vote for him ! Rice certainly didn’t. I did what I could as a citizen with my one vote.

And it’s entirely possible that ironically, this time the election actually was stolen, by none other than Trump, with the help of the "richest man in the world", Elon Musk. I wouldn’t put it past either of them at this point.

But taunting those of us who are as distressed at this administration as the rest of the world is counterproductive, and pretty bad form. 🤨

@bijouxbroussard When he was first elected I empathised with those who voted and did not support him. Now he has been there a year and I dont need to detail the carnage he has wrought on all Americans and indeed the world. Now I am the last person to suggest you start making plans likely to endanger anyone.. But you still live there. You are American. And he is your elected leader..At the very least you have failed to react as if your future was at risk.. You could at least feel ashamed and offer an apology. For context, I have repeatedly apologised for Rupert Murdoch. And I never voted for him. Nor do I watch his rubbish network...But as an Australian I do feel shame and responsibility..😷

@bijouxbroussard beware the psycho complainers, they are having problems ONLY with the man in the mirror but it still looks like you and me. Hes the man hes so frightened of. He needs sequestering assistants now, kind strangers escorting him to his happy safe place..like a padded cell with maybe an occasional visiting shrink to explain what bad behavior means.

Lol
@whowasthatmaskedman Quite a lot of it was in plain sight—the gerrymandering, the intimidation at the polls, the bought and paid for judges like Cannon…

Biggest failures were Garland, Biden, the Democrats in Congress

That’s on the Democrats.
