In fact-checking this, he is suing for a BBC documentary that he claims defamed him and tried to influence the American Presidential Election.
He has the right to sue for defamation, but I am not so sure if he has the right to sue for election tampering or influence.
He won this election, so it seems a moot point even if they did interfere, unless it has to do with the Biden year and he can prove it influenced people enough to vote for Biden, I would imagine that would not be so easily proven, but then I really don't know.

I know the BBC has been embroiled in quite a few scandals.
People can sue for almost for anything it doesn't mean they win as Prince Harry has proven over and over again.
I guess that will be for the lawyers to figure out.

People can sue for almost anything doesn't mean they'll win the case as they have to prove intent.
I believe he did have some lawsuits brought against him; I don't think they went anywhere.
Even Republicans have admitted ,at times, that he's a bit of a loose cannon.
Can sue- should sue probably two different subjects.

@ChipmunkErnie The programme was about the Jan 6th attack on the Capitol building. They showed parts of Trump's speech to Maga crowd before the attack. The parts shown were out of sequence, a later part shown first, poor editing. What was shown however was Trump speaking so it is / was his actual words. The programme wasn't shown in the USA, though apparently was available on Britbox. How many people in the USA actually viewed it, especially in Florida could be interesting. If nobody in Florida viewed it where is the damage to Trump's Presidential run? He won anyway.
As ever Trump thinks he can force a win regardless of the actual legality.
