It's like a tariff, but on people. The tourism industry is applauding this move as a huge source of revenue. The tourism industry outside the US I mean.

Vegas has been dying for a long time. During Covid they cut prices so much that the undesirables showed up, then increased prices so much everyone else stopped showing up. "Resort fees" and $25 burgers aren't friendly.
