Trump orders US troops to defend mall that doesn’t exist
MSN reports:
“ President Donald Trump has called for U.S. troops to protect a Chicago shopping center, but there’s one major problem: The mall doesn’t exist.
According to Trump, Chicago’s Miracle Mile Shopping Center -- “once considered the nation’s top best” -- now has more than 28% of its space vacant and risks shutting down if crime isn’t stopped.
He urged on Truth Social, “Call in the troops fast, before it is too late!”
News organizations quickly pointed out that no Miracle Mile Shopping Center exists in Chicago.
While cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Monroeville, Pennsylvania, reportedly have malls by that name, Illinois does not.
Trump likely meant the Magnificent Mile, a 13-block shopping district in downtown Chicago known for “high-end” stores and fine dining.
Earlier in November, The Washington Examiner reported that Chicago’s downtown office vacancy rate had reached “record” highs.
The report referenced the 28% figure mentioned by Trump in his post.
According to the Examiner, Illinois Policy Institute researcher LyLena Estabine noted that “with Chicago’s downtown office vacancy rate now at a record-high 28%, city policymakers have become their own worst enemy in addressing the area’s shifting demographics.”
My comments:
Demented Donnie lies all the time. Tens of thousands of times during his first term; and, currently, well ahead of that pace this time around.
One of his favorite lies seems to be that he “aced” a cognitive screening test.
Mental status tests are done to test an individual’s cognitive function. The tests can be given by a number of different healthcare providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses. A psychologist is required to conduct more complex testing when there are questions about specific neurocognitive disorders.
Mental status tests will examine your appearance, orientation, attention span, memory, language skills, and judgment skills. Mental status testing may also be referred to as mental status examination or neurocognitive testing.
One’s orientation to time, place, and person will be tested. Abnormal orientation may be indicative of alcohol use, use of certain drugs, head trauma, nutritional deficiencies, or neurocognitive impairment.
Clearly this story shows that Demented Donnie is not even oriented to Person, Place, and Time.
Further proof that he is mentally unfit.
