Hollowing out congress

According to the law of the land in the USA, the congress controls the purse.
But what if the executive branch doesn't like that? I mean, it's really not fun to have all those checks and balances when you perceive governement to be your private enterprice and all these institutions and liberal ideas are holding back your grand visions. Why not just ignore it all, and blame the opposition for your neglect of the rules.

And if you don't like a program that was set up and founded by congres, just pretend that there is such a thing as "democrat agencies", even though these institutions excist for every voter. Because in 2025, divide and conquer is still really effective.

But that's what you get when you have a guy in the white house, that doesn't know if he needs to uphold the constitution... altough that was pretty much explained to him when he took his oath of office.

And all of this behavior, is already being normalised in this weird conservative media sphere, so that the zombies that they have created can pretend that this is all okay.

Now I'm awake to the world. I was asleep before. That's how we let it happen. When they slaughtered Congress, we didn't wake up. When they blamed terrorists and suspended the constitution, we didn't wake up then, either. Nothing changes instantaneously. In a gradually heating bathtub, you'd be boiled to death before you knew it.
