farmers are doing good
@RachelLia2003 Sure, it's fall and they have no workers to pick produce, food rotting on the ground, and they have no markets because China is trading with new partners.

@Pitchblue stuffs ok. im glad they deported those illegal aliens
@RachelLia2003 Yup, no one to work in hotels, restaurants, cleaners, construction and farming. Oh well, I guess the prices for that stuff will have to go up.

@RachelLia2003 says

That's not what the farmers themselves are saying!!Minnesota soybean farmers, facing ‘dire’ export orders due to tariffs, seek federal bailout

Hundreds of Arkansas farmers packed the meeting, all carrying the same urgent plea for emergency funding. Their warning was stark: without immediate help, American agriculture faces its worst crisis in a generation.
"You are going to lose 25 to 30% of the farmers in this country if they don’t do something," said Scott Brown, who works 800 acres in Biggers. "In the short term, they have no choice but to mail us a check."

@ElwoodBlues no ones gonna die in a few weeks of smol issues. they did the mistake by hiring illegal aliens

@RachelLia2003 China stopped buying soybeans from the US. What's that got to do with undocumented farm workers? In fact, have you heard any reports of tRump going after farm workers?? The truth is just the opposite.
tRump proposed a carveout undocumented farm and hotel workers; the opposite of what you said.
The trouble with our conservative friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so!
Trump signals deference to farmers on immigrant workers - 07/04/25 8:20
“Farmers, look, they know better. They work with them for years. You had cases where, not year, but just even over the years where people have worked for a farm, on a farm for 14, 15 years, and they get thrown out pretty viciously, and we can’t do it. We gotta work with the farmers, and people that have hotels and leisure properties, too,” Trump told the crowd at the “Salute to America” event in Des Moines, Iowa.
