Man watching people act like this is a trip. Something you only read about or see in movies. It's right here right now.

I never thought I'd live to see this.
@CountScrofula They might as well get on their knees in front of Trump and unzip his pants.

@NativePortlander1970 It's really weird to me to see someone from Oregon which I always thought of a state that seriously prized personal freedoms and had a history of resisting the government to be like... yeah throw the troops on all the street corners.

Like what happens when they don't leave? This isn't a right wing or left wing policy. This is the government's boot on necks. But since its not your neck (yet) it's okay.
@CountScrofula I'm from a pre californicated Portland, Oregon, when the ENTIRE state was fairly conservative and law abiding, when we were a once fairly armed populace that took care of crime properly, before an east coast carpetbagger mayor invited the leftists in.
@CountScrofula When I lived in the Portland area last us Citizens took up arms and protected our neighborhoods against rioters and looters. During the summer of 2020 antifa went to the suburbs and caused disturbances, threatened to burn down houses and torch cars if residents didn't solidaritate, during the middle of the night with spotlights shining into windows and bullhorns blaring. 30 years ago we would have shot them if they tried that. After the Rodney King verdict in 1992, on my 22nd birthday, my second cousin's husband handed me a .300 Savage lever action and four boxes of cartridges, about 60 of us went around the perimeter of our neighborhood and stood guard all night, I was at the baptist church graveyard on SW Murray Blvd near Hwy 26 (Sunset Hwy). IF we had done that in 2020 we'd all have been arrested.

@NativePortlander1970 You are truly a good man. I would have been beside you worrying about being arrested for murder.
@Musicman Oregon used to have an anti rioting and looting law, anyone entering your neighborhood, defense was allowed, this was enacted during the Vietnam era.

@NativePortlander1970 I love it! Has it been retracted now?
@Musicman It was still on the books when I lived in the Portland area last, in the late 90's
Musicman · 61-69, M
@NativePortlander1970 Do you think they would honor that law today?
@Musicman If it's still on the books I'm sure the leftists in the Oregon legislature will try to repeal as soon as they discover it.
