@Carla Ah but what is magic and what is prophecy. Nostradamus was a monk who claimed to have been visited by Angels. Al Beilik was a sailor who claimed to have been transported in time by an experiment gone wrong (the Philedlphia experiment). Most people consider both to be complete quacks. I can only judge what they claimed by sayng is it self consistent and consistent with the know laws of physics. For Nostradamus no laws of ohysics come into it but the text is onfiscated. When I read it in the 1980s I decided to pick on a few interpretations I felt were strongly identifiable in meaning and blow me if more than half (2 Iraq wars, a second tank battle for Kiev, an Idiot leading the world to disaster named very similarly to Netanyaho - from the 1980s) - thaey're not bad calls. AL Beilik's antyi gravity, Ai ruling a 100000 population of the ramaingin humans living in a socialist paradise with the opportunity of doing something to better themselves but everythign they wanted, leaving the surface of the earth for nature to recover itself after a nuclear aramgeddon that seemed impossible in the 1980s 2nd enlightement period living in flaoting cities held in the sjy by alien anti-gravity technology seemed like utter rubbish - but the Ai and reduciton of human life to a few folk keeping the history alive and safe guarding the planet seemed to make sense as the only possible happy ending. Capitalism demands growth and so resource consumption and is therefore the biggest threat to the planet. Now scientist are actually starting to consider anti-gravity and now I have discovered Wheelers 70 year old theory fo the single electron universe, which can be written in such a way that antiparicles show antigravity - Al Belik's lunatic ramblings are looking less and less lunatic all the time. I am open minded. I just like to share what I have read and learnt - the big stuff - not politics economics and daily life, but the "why's" of the world and where its going. Wheelers theory does away with the arrow of time - because it says the positron is just the electron moving backwards in time. So if we change the future we change the pasy - though of course we'd never know it. These are big ideas and bizarrely experiments have already been done with electronic shift registers which indicate the positron does indeed travel backwards in time - We are hood winked by living a mainly two dimensional life on an earth made of matter that appears to be flat. God is always quoted as saying he is at the beignning and the end and everywhere in between. Notice not was at the beginning but is at the beginning. Reality is an illusion brought on by the limits of the human contition and all things are possible if HWeeler's theory is a valid one.
