They came from a time when everything had to be done by oneself and they expect us to act exactly the same in a much different time when virtually nothing can be done by oneself.

@ScreamingFox I just posted about this earlier. My dad and I tried to fix a bicycle. Turns out there's nowhere to fix it because everywhere we can go will bother somebody or ruin something. But he still expected me to do it. 😆
