'Rage Against the Regime' protests planned against Trump

CNN reports:

“ Tens of thousands of people are expected to gather nationwide on Saturday, Aug. 2 to ‒ as organizers have dubbed it ‒ “Rage Against the Regime” of President Donald Trump.

Organizers say the demonstrations, the latest in a series of peaceful summertime protests in hundreds of locations across the country, are meant to mobilize masses of people against the administration's actions. “

"Good Trouble" protests. That was the late Rep. John Lewis’ term for just protests. And he would be so encouraged to see this, because he would’ve been really disappointed to see that this country was foolish enough to put Trump back in charge.

@bijouxbroussard I really, really miss John Lewis—a true patriot and gentleman who was willing to put his own health and safety on the line through non-violent protests of injustices.

I wish someone would add a verse dedicated to him to the song “Abraham, Martin, and John.” Our country could certainly use being reminded of men and women like him right now!
