@FreddieUK I think the trap is the word "windmill" has become entrenched in the language for anything driven by a wind-powered rotor.
Worse, we need bear in mind most politicians, journalists and indeed large swathes of the public at large, are woefully ignorant of Science and Engineering even at basic, general-knowledge level.
Considering how much we rely on Scientists and Engineers for most aspects of our lives, I find that ignorance depressing and very worrying.
