Why are trump supporters so upset about this Epstein thing?

MAGAts were okay with a convicted felon being in office. They cheered when trump did about everything or things we wants to do.

But now with this Epstein thing, the MAGAts are suddenly upset? I thought they backed and worshipped trump no matter what. Why are they mad about this?

I happened upon one of those right-wing radio stations the other day and they were complaining about trump not wanting to release those files. Even some of these other media outlets who normally praise trump are upset.

Yes, being a PDfile is disgusting but trump has done other horrible things and the MAGAts don't mind.
Are they FINALLY starting to see just what they put in office? Even if they are, how long until they support him again?

Trump wants left-wing media defunded, maybe shut down completely (notably NPR)
So is he going to also shut down right-wing media since they are now speaking out against him?

The loyal MAGAts are evidently supporting a PDfile.

One reason is that at nearly every campaign stop and MAGA rally he promised that when he became President he would release everything available on Epstein. They all thought (probably correctly) that Clinton and other prominent Democrats would be named. The feeling among many people on both sides is that he may not have realized at the time that he is named in some of the files. He may or may not be named but people aren't going to be satisfied until all of the rocks are turned over and we can see what crawls out.

This is one of the few times, probably in his life, that he is being held accountable for his actions and words.

I'm sure he thought he got away with it and he wasn't mentioned until someone informed or reminded him. This man is barely aware of what's happening around him except the thing he's zeroed in on at any given moment. He's actually in worse condition than Biden was. If that's possible.

Besides, it's not what in the files that's likely to get him. That's just the starting point. Someone who knows something is eventually going to break and the floodgates will open. .

But yeah you are right, some of his speeches are incoherent.
