I am surprised that tRUMP’s pick, General Kaine, did not falsely claim that tRUMP’s use of the Foreign Enemies Act was legal.
Whether knowingly or not, Caine correctly pointed out that we are not currently at war with Venezuela and, therefore, tRUMP was issuing illegal orders claiming that Act as his authority to do so.
Frankly, I am a bit surprised—I didn’t think Caine would ever stand up to tRUMP. Caine simply cannot hold a candle to General CQ Brown, Jr whom tRUMP fired based on the color of his skin and ignoring his experience, competency, and sound moral character.
One thing surprised me in the video, Caine is wearing four stars. That is the rank of a full General Officer. Yet, they continue to refer to him as a Lieutenant General (three stars) which he was when tRUMP appointed him. In the Air Force, we do not “frock” officers. This may have recently changed.
Anyway, here is the clip and it is worth watching.

@samueltyler2 4,700 troops were deployed. The LAPD is in control of the situation. What are these troops used for? Mostly to bust doors to assist ICE arrest people. Reports from LA indicate that they're cruising Home Depot parking lots, and tossing day laborers into trucks, or people who may look like day laborers, for deportation.

@samueltyler2 and you can't point to any other time an Administration, Republican and Democrat deployed the Guard to quell civil unrest? I can mention when the Army was used to put-down an armed insurrection in the coal fields of West Virginia.

If you cannot differentiate between the event you mentioned and the LA situation you either can't read or skipped that chapter on the history book.
