Oh how nice - a new word to signify a comparison given between 2 people - completely ignoring the second person's comment for fear that even though the first person makes a bone head statement and the second replier comments with true common sense thoughts on a politician that is opposite somebody's bone head view and that actually makes sense.

You, and tRump and Putin, seem to be forgetting a three-way treaty known as the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. Or maybe you don't think treaties matter. Maybe you don't think our word as a nation matters.

Essentially, Ukraine agreed to give up all its nuclear weapons to Russia in exchange for safety from a U.S. or Russian invasion. Russia's invasion of Ukraine violates that treaty. And as a signatory to that 1994 Budapest Memorandum, the U.S. has a definite interest in righting Putin's current wrongs.

In the final version of the deal, Russia promised not to attack Ukraine. While the U.S. and the U.K. assured Ukraine they would aid if it was attacked by Russia, that promised aid did not guarantee military support like a NATO country would receive.

In 2009, Russia and the U.S. announced that the assurances in the Budapest Memorandum would continue to remain in effect in the future.

Russia promised specifically NOT to invade Ukraine, and the U.S. promised specifically to ASSIST Ukraine if the treaty were ever violated. And that's what the U.S. had been doing until tRump trashed the treaty and switched to appeasement.

Did Putin talk to the UN or request mediation by the international community or specify his alleged grievances?? No he did not. He made a land grab.

As I've repeatedly explained to you, Article 51 of the UN charter sets out the terms for self defense by arms. Needless to say, It's not just based on someones "feelings." Needless to say the Article 51 conditions were not met in the case of Ukraine.

I keep telling you about Article 51, and you keep boneheadedly pretending you don't know. Are we at the point now where you realize how silly you've been and you delete all your comments???

It was Zelenskyy that armed his non military citizens with machine guns and had them make gasoline firebombs to throw at Russian soldiers. Where in your article 51 does it say that private citizens are allowed to shoot at the enemy ? Answer - nowhere.

And now as far as schools and hospitals go - when you are being attacked from schools and hospitals by private citizens with machine guns - what do you think is going to happen when a Russian tank feels threatened by non - military personnel shooting at them ? Are they supposed to sit there and take it ? -

And you wonder why hospitals got attacked DUH ! Take a wild guess. That makes Zelenskyy a war criminal.

And how did those "poor defenseless" Russian soldiers come in range of Ukrainian guns? They INVADED Ukraine!!! In tanks and trucks Russians invaded Ukraine!!

Once Russia had invaded, then Article 51 conditions, which you keep ignoring, where met, and Ukrainians are allowed to defend themselves.

No, the bombings of Ukrainian schools and hospitals and apartment blocks happened from afar. Russian tanks and trucks never got close enough to Kiev to receive fire from Kiev. The Russian bombing of civilian parts of Kiev was pure terrorism.

As the bombing of a children’s hospital in Kyiv was being condemned worldwide, Russian officials denied their country’s responsibility for the attack and even tried to shift blame to Ukraine and its Western backers.
