Even if Tesla wasn't hurting, I think Elon would want out, as supposedly he's getting into arguments and based on Trump's actions, Elon is losing... as Trump follows the advice of the other guy.
Sean Duffy, Secretary of Transportation
Marco Rubio, Secretary of State
And now the latest
Scott Bessent, Secretary of the Treasury
Have all confronted Elon, and they've all won.
Elon wins when it's normal standards employees standing against him, but he's consistently lost when these Secretaries have grown some balls and stood up against him.
And Elon supposedly is extremely stupidly obsessively competitive and surely absolutely hates losing... where he would call out people that professional reviewed Tesla and attempt to get them fired for any negative reviews.
Apparently Bessent was pointing out to Trump how so far DOGE has consistently failed to keep their promises, as they're certainly aren't seeing even close to 10% of the numbers that they promised, maybe not even 5%.
