It was assumed some disruption would occur and eventually the oversold market will settle down. When the patient has major surgery there is a recovery time. There is also about $7 trillion coming in investment. People want all this crap to get fixed overnight. That's not gonna happen. Be patient. Unless you're day trading or trading derivatives, the stock market is a long term investment typically.
