He has common interests with Russia. Who's the dog and who's the tail is open for debate, but my guess is Putin has more to offer than Zelensky. As Trump said, Putin and not Zelensky seems to have the winning hand.

After eleven years of aggression russia is currently infesting 17% of the territory of the sovereign democracy of Ukraine.

Many hundreds of thousands of russians sacrificed on the alter of putin's neurotic fantasy... and many, many, more to come.
