How many of the people who voted for Trump because of high prices actually expected him to lower prices though?

I know, some did for sure, but I think there's an awful lot of people who knew damned well that he wouldn't deliver on that promise but used that as a socially acceptable cover.

People who voted for trump have management positions and they know their companies pay tariffs to other countries all the time. The people who complain about Trump are just now finding out what they are
