Measles outbreak in Gaines County TEXAS

Just as RFK, Jr (aka “Brainworm”) takes over as the new (and completely unqualified) head of HHS!

Gaines County has a large number of unvaccinated children.

Check out RFK Jr's support visit to anti-vaxers in American Samoa (corrected from my original thought of "Guam") and the ensuing death of dozens of children from measles after he left.

@ChipmunkErnie Correct. Also deafness. Along with the pneumonia, some develop empyema.

This article represents the latest update. Three surrounding counties have now reported cases.

All before his time
@MarineBob American Samoa wasn’t before Junior’s time.

Aren't you a Democrat? I thought the more unqualified the better for you people

On Tuesday, eight children (and two adults) were confirmed with measles. All had “exemptions” from the MMR vaccine.

By yesterday, a total of 18 children had contracted measles. As the children were attending school, many other unvaccinated children have been exposed and the actual number cannot be determined because the health records are not completed.

Measles is one of the most contagious diseases which, until recently, was mostly kept in check by the availability of the safe MMR vaccine.

Now, we can’t exactly pin this on “Junior” since he had no direct role in the children getting those exemptions, but this highlights the absurdity of appointing him to that position.
