Every administration has done that. This isn’t new
@MrGrumpy This is the first president attempting to take away birthright citizenship .That is new.
And that he’s the son of an immigrant himself (one who used "chain migration"), it’s rather ironic.

@bijouxbroussard Thats correct. He is trying to take it away. It has been blocked by the judge and his plans won’t go anywhere
We have birthright citizenship in Canada too. Not many countries have that. Some are abusing the system by travelling here with the intent to give birth here. It is a problem and should be dealt with. But not the way he’s going about it
