@eli1601 I agree. But a conspiracy theorist might think having these convictions formalized might come back to haunt Trump in office. I mean many of the developed nations he might want to visit wont allow comvicted felons a visa.. And considering the Supreme court voted not to prevent this, its just possible that a few vites in the know with Project 2025 wanted this escape clause written in to push him aside if he became "difficult". (He is already way past an embarrassment.)😷
