@Patriot96 I wouldn't actually dispute that much (though he was qualified by virtue of being old enough and American enough, so don't say he wasn't qualified. I thought being faithful to the Constitution was what mattered!?)

But I'm not sure it's a comparison...are you saying Republicans vote for Trump to feel good and to prove...what exactly?
