Why do Americans that believe CNN's (and the rest of mass media) lies think Trump is the new Hitler?

I mean, I didn't vote for the guy, but the unexplainable hate towards him is insane!

Update: the debates have been interesting to read. But there's an obvious polarization on the side of those that hate him. Like I said, I don't have a horse in this race, but the raw hatred just boggles my mind. Sure, he can be crude, but who of us isn't at times?

Or why do Americans who need enemies to blame for their own shit play the "fake news" card because that's what they've been fed like dogs? Bud. You couldn't pull one quote from a mainstream news outlet saying Trump is Hitler. If you hear anything along those lines it's opinion and it's coming from the VERY real fact that many machinations of the Nazi movement are mirroring what's playing out today. You know, mass manipulation through lies and nationalism.
Now as far as the hate that's very explainable. All it takes is some self-respect, empathy for others and the ability to to discern truth. Maybe that's you. Maybe that's not.
