Why do Americans that believe CNN's (and the rest of mass media) lies think Trump is the new Hitler?

I mean, I didn't vote for the guy, but the unexplainable hate towards him is insane!

Update: the debates have been interesting to read. But there's an obvious polarization on the side of those that hate him. Like I said, I don't have a horse in this race, but the raw hatred just boggles my mind. Sure, he can be crude, but who of us isn't at times?

It's simple American politics, take one side and blowtorch the other. It's not that different with anyone else.
@uncalled4 With respect, no. Trump has not been business as usual. He’s contributed to more divisiveness here than we’ve seen in decades. 😞

@bijouxbroussard I'm talking not about the divisiveness of Trump in particular, just the either/or dynamic that keeps us all at odds.
@uncalled4 I’ve been a registered voter for 42 years and this has been the first time I’ve encountered people who’ve expressed the opinion that I should be killed because I’m progressive. I don’t doubt some people may’ve thought that before. But they’re more and more mainstream than they were. 🥺

@bijouxbroussard Some people just go too far. There's more to a person than politics. Well, most, anyway.
@uncalled4 Yeah, I used to think that, too. But I since encountered some exceptions. 🙁

@bijouxbroussard Me too. It's frustrating, because seemingly intelligent people become robotic drones.
