@SomeMichGuy There is a 'club' for autocratic dictators (xi, putin, kim, etc.), and trump thought he was going to join that club. When he lost the election in 2020 his membership application was rejected. If he ever again gets anywhere near the Presidency he will immediately re-submit that application.

@SomeMichGuy Precisely! An effective political tactic is to make people very afraid of something, tell them that you alone can solve the problem and make their fear go away, and all they need do is to give you the authority to do so.
