@akindheart I do remember Trump and his people SAYING they had dead people voting. I certainly dont remember any court cases being taken up and there were over 60 of those..All thrown out through lack of evidence.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman he had the evidence. there were not only dead people voting but people who lived in other states. more people voting that on the rolls. the courts refused to hear the evidence

Rudi the bankrupt reindeer had files and file he was going to produce and never did. And this shows the broader problem. When someone repeats a falshood over and over, you remember the claim. But not that it was an unproven claim.. Thats why we have courts. To produce the facts..And its sad to see that in America even the court system is no longer above tampering. Once a system has gone that far I dont know there is a way back..😷

Without voter ID you can't say either way if there was fraud or not
Most normal people have no issues with requiring voter ID because @ the very least it will remove the controversy and make it harder to commit fraud
There is NO reason that IDs can't be required

@pdockal I have no problem with voter ID in my own country. (and we use it) However, America has a problem with a large undocumented population who are actually resident and have set up families and lives there. In fact the economy needs them for the cheap labor. Add the distrust many of these people have for authorities and the sometimes sketchy nature of local US authority figures, I can see the difficulty. But there are also a lot of US born homeless and semi nomads, many veterans. All voices should be heard..Some impartial way to do it should be possible,,,😷

@pdockal OK Paleface. I regular get the "you dont live here, so your opinion doesnt count" argument. Usually from good old boys who think that being American makes you smarter or beyond the rules. But I wont assume anything about you..
However while I am fine with the idea of "staying in my own lane" as you put it, I will require in return that America butt out of everyone other nations busines they have no place in and concern themselves with the stinking cesspit of a culture in their own backyard. And while we are att it, please pay off the $35 Trillion IOU that you owe other countries for goods and services you already had to maintain your pick up driving, bootscooting lifestyle.
As for your closing comment claiming that the US economy would be fine without the undocumentd labour market, it shows how entirely ignorant you are of how your own economy works. Good luck getting food processed, construction or manufacturing processing done, crops harvested and hospitality services (on which tourism depends) happening. There is a reason your government doesnt stop the undocumented labour marker. They need them..

@pdockal Of course you could school me. But you wont. I understand the US economy way better tht=an you. And I have have visited America and experienced the lovely people first hand. While I am sure you personally have probably never owned a passport and therefore have never personally interfered in the affairs of a foreign power, you thrive on deals your government made to give you advantage every day. And you dont even know it.

@akindheart Absolutely I would. I have to declare here I am no fan of Democracy, except that over time it works better than anything else.. As an economist all I want to see is a nation that lives within its means and prioritizes prosperity for as many of its people as possible. Because they makes a bigger pie for all to share.. How you keep corruption out of the equation is the hard part.
So I still dont agree with you about the "proof" of rigging, so lets shelve that for a moment. (Because I enjoy discussing these issues with you) If you were completely correct, then it means the court system, in the states as well as federally, is already corrupted beyond repair. If thats the case, there can be no justice. Now at a commerical level, Trump has skirted the law since he was a teenager and never faces legal consequences. However, if you start digging, the list of civil suits he has had to settle is horrendous. Of course, all end with NDAs, so we will never know. But the court filings exist.. Including one by the family of a 14 YO.. Now I wont say he is guilty of anything here. But is this man the one you want leading thr nation into the future? Or presenting America to the world? We already saw the results there last time. 😷
