@VeronicaJane whether NATO is good or bad isn't at issue...though there is plenty about NATO that's not good. The point is that Congress is taking a preemptive strike with this legislation with no sound basis for doing so. What are they trying to protect?
And when has Trump ever hinted at leaving NATO? He called out the European NATO nations for not paying their fair share. No American should have an issue with that.

Ukraine is not a NATO nation. And given the amount of aid the rest of NATO has kicked in, Europe doesn't treat the situation in Ukraine as a NATO issue either.

And that's not really even the biggest issue. Congress voted to continue surveillance capabilities in citizens.
