I don't think it's wrong, but it seems pretty pointless.
Asking why Republicans support both of them seems like a better question to me, but I didn't mean to attack your question as much as comment on it.

You may not remember it, but Trump went on the Oz show, to "reveal" how healthy he was. The big "reveal" consisted of him taking a piece of paper from his jacket pocket, and handed it to Dr Oz, followed by 'wow, look at that Testosterone level'. That's the guy a minority of voters, but a majority of electoral votes, picked as our 45th President.
