Pure speculation. Don't quote me on this.

Everyone is assuming that Trump was the target of the Mar-a-Lago raid, and the nuclear-related documents in question pertain to the US nuclear program. Both of those are reasonable assumptions, but they're not supported by the warrant or the list of seized materials. It's possible that someone else was the target of the raid, and the evidence just happened to be at Mar-a-Lago. It's also possible that the documents are related to another country's nuclear program.

Israel and the US have an agreement covering the sharing of military information between the two countries. Here it is if anyone's interested.

https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/US-Israel/securityofinfo.pdf

The President does not have the authority to declassify any material under this or any other treaty. Our foreign partners have to be assured that any classified information they share with us will remain classified. If the DOJ received a tip that Trump was planning on releasing this information to an unauthorized foreign actor, the FBI would have had to seize it immediately.

My guess is that Trump planned to turn over details of Israel's nuclear program to Iran. He has had previous connections to the Mammadov Brothers, from when he was building his hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan, and the Mammadovs have been associated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The value of this information to Iran would be almost incalculable. If Jared or Ivanka had gotten wind of this, they would have alerted the DOJ.

Again, I'm just speculating. Maybe the MAGA cult doesn't care if Trump sells out America. I'm not so sure his Evangelical base would be happy if he sold out Israel.

"My guess is that Trump planned to turn over details of Israel's nuclear program to Iran."

That's utterly delusional on your part, Leo.
After Trump ordered the killing of Soleimani?!

What did Trump expect in return from the Iranians, permission to build hotels and golf courses in and around Tehran? 🙄 🙄 🙄

@Thinkerbell ^OMG what a lunatic loser. And I guess the bonus was his Jewish grandkids would get vaporized.

There's a reason we build bughouses!

Ps. Leo's brain is fried from all the flour he had to consume to find his large and lovely wife's hooch

@SW-User twelve. Im being generous.
SW-User
@Carla You make even less sense than usual.

But it figures you'd defend such idiotic dreck
@SW-User Dude, just because you prefer little boys doesn't mean the rest of us do. Still have the NAMBLA legal team on speed dial? Or have they stopped answering?
@Thinkerbell They would pay him in cash, of course, or more likely, pay off his upcoming loan to the Russians. And if you think Trump "loves Israel" because his grandchildren are Jewish, you're very naive. This is a guy who gladly accepts the support of neo-Nazi and other antisemitic groups. Of course he would sell out Israel if he had the chance.

Oh, yeah, I forgot...

Maybe the Iranians would send Trump that pallet of cash (delivered to Iran in the middle of the night by Obama) to Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Garland would have to order another FBI raid to seize it. 😂 😂 😂

Your delusions are running away with you Leo. 🙄 🙄 🙄

@Thinkerbell You mean the money we seized from Iran when we froze their accounts after the Revolution? It was never our money. I know you think Trump is incapable of sin, but it’s not like he didn’t have documents he wasn’t entitled to.

Just curious, if evidence is found to your satisfaction that Trump broke the law, should he be held accountable?
@SW-User Can you take a break from sucking the shit out of Trump’s ass for a minute? There are some farm animals that miss you.

"Just curious, if evidence is found to your satisfaction that Trump broke the law, should he be held accountable?"

I'd be all for that, just as soon as Garland orders an FBI raid on Hunter's domicile 90 days before an election, and just as soon as the FBI doesn't pretend Hunter's laptop was "Russian disinformation" to protect the Big Guy just before a presidential election, for example. 🙄 🙄 🙄

As for Iran,

"You mean the money we seized from Iran when we froze their accounts after the Revolution?"

So why didn't Obama simply unfreeze the accounts...? 🤔
(as if we didn't know...)

@LeopoldBloom shouldn't you be warming up the crane so you can pick up your wife
SW-User
@LeopoldBloom since you're a leftist that hates both America and Jews, shouldn't you be cheering on Trump?

You've been pounding your 1" for decades fantasizing about brown people vaporizing the Jews
@SW-User I'm Jewish, you Nazi fuckhead. And I thought Traitor Tot "is the best friend Israel ever had" and "has Jewish grandchildren."

Considering that your "wife" is a farm animal, maybe you need the crane.
@Thinkerbell Wow, you just can't resist "whatabout Hunter." I have no problem with them going after Hunter or the Clintons or whoever the enemy du jour is for you people. But let's take one criminal at a time. We're talking about Traitor Tot. So you're saying he should be immune unless Hunter is arrested at the same time? What if Twitler actually committed a crime - he gets a free pass if Hunter isn't his cellmate? So much for "the party of law and order."

And yes, we're aware that the transfer to Iran was in cash. And no, Iran didn't have old bank accounts in the US that could be "unfrozen" 35 years later. The money was in cash because sanctions against Iran were so effective, they couldn't transfer the funds electronically. It's not like it was done in secret; you people have been bleating about it since the day it happened.

Really, Tink, you're smarter than this.

@LeopoldBloom

"What if Twitler actually committed a crime - he gets a free pass if Hunter isn't his cellmate?"

And you characteristically dodged the question of why Garland so obviously timed his raid in order to affect the upcoming election, and why the FBI so obviously protected Biden in the 2020 election with its "Russian disinformation" nonsense.

So the question is not that Trump should get a free pass if he committed a crime, but why do Hunter and the Big Guy get free passes time after time (as if we didn't know)? 🙄 🙄 🙄

Whatever happened to EQUAL APPLICATION OF JUSTICE UNDER THE LAW (as if we didn't know)?

As for Iran and the middle-of-the-night cash transfers (in Euros, btw, because transferring dollars, even in cash, would have been illegal):

" The money was in cash because sanctions against Iran were so effective, they couldn't transfer the funds electronically."

So you admit that Obama violated the sanctions that were in place, and not just American sanctions, but European ones as well. 🙄 🙄 🙄
@Thinkerbell If Garland wanted to time his raid to affect the election, he would have waited until late October, the way Comey did. And the question is whether Trump should get a free pass, not why politicians you don't like are supposedly getting one. I've already said if any of them committed a crime, I have no problem with investigating or charging them. Can you say the same about your orange God without deflecting or playing the whatabout game? Or are you saying that we should just suspend the rule of law since every potential criminal isn't being investigated?

Obama (actually, the U.S. government) was fulfilling the terms of the JCPOA which had been agreed to by several other countries besides the US (including members of the EU), so that overrode any sanctions on doing ordinary business with Iran. If Obama committed a crime by complying with the agreement, why didn't the Republican-controlled House impeach him? Or Trump could have instructed the DOJ to investigate him after tearing up the agreement.
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@LeopoldBloom

"If Garland wanted to time his raid to affect the election, he would have waited until late October, the way Comey did."

Baloney. The Democrats found out from the Access Hollywood tape that an October surprise is much less effective than a long, drawn-out "investigation" of the Mueller variety, where the lapdog press can feature breathless front-page "any-day-now"stories practically every day for months.

And Comey was trying to protect Hillary with his "nothing significant here" statement.

"And the question is whether Trump should get a free pass, not why politicians you don't like are supposedly getting one."

Wrong again. I never said Trump should get a free pass if he committed a crime. I said The Biden crime family and other corrupt high-level Democrats also should NOT, when they obviously ARE.

" I've already said if any of them committed a crime, I have no problem with investigating or charging them."

Easy for you to say, secure in the knowledge that Garland will never charge the Biden crime family,
or at most let Hunter off with a fine and payment of back taxes, and never touch the Big Guy, PARTICULARLY not close to an election. 😂
BTW, whatever happened to Hunter's laptop that the FBI has been hanging on to for two years, after first calling it "Russian disinformation," to protect the Big Guy. Did they lose it in the meantime? 😂 😂

"Can you say the same about your orange God without deflecting or playing the whatabout game?"

Wrong yet again, Leo. As I have already pointed out, Garland scheduled the FBI raid to have maximum effect on the election, and of course, nothing will be settled by November. Meanwhile the lapdog media will have a field day with stories (from unnamed "sources close to the investigation") about what a criminal Trump is.

BTW, whataboutisms are a powerful argument when they show (as they clearly do in this case) that a principle is NOT being applied equally.

@Thinkerbell

So you admit that Obama violated the sanctions that were in place, and not just American sanctions, but European ones as well.

Don't forget Obama also married out if his species
@Thinkerbell Why didn't your orange savior charge Biden or the Clintons when he had four years to do so? Maybe because they didn't do anything? Please stick to the topic instead of playing the whatabout game. Fine, every politician is corrupt and they all belong in prison. That doesn't exempt Trump from prosecution if he broke the law.

The reason nothing is happening with Hunter's laptop is because any evidence on it was compromised by the way Giuliani and the other idiots handled it.

You're welcome to believe that the raid was scheduled to affect the election, especially if Trump is charged in between now and November. But I thought the story is that the American people are outraged and any prosecution of Donald God Trump will lead to a red wave? So maybe Garland is trying to help the Republicans?

The Dobbs decision will have a much bigger impact on the midterms, as the recent election in Kansas proved. A state that Trump won by 20 points voted to keep abortion legal there at almost the same amount in the opposite direction.
@SW-User I didn't know you were married to Obama.
