With the US election so close to call, and with so much anger (and disbelief) on either side, how will the winner ever bring both sides together?

I think it's too close to call.

Polls say Hillary is very slightly ahead, but with Trump continuing to gain, I think he may win.

He may lose the electoral college thus Hillary will be President Elect, with Trump still winning the majority in the actual popular vote.

Either way, it makes leading difficult. There will be pools of bad blood on either side.

If that happens, how will they lead and bring the country together?

Not that I think either of them believes that is even possible.

Right now I´ve read in the news that Trump will send on the election-day many of his fans to the places where people can elect. They want to "take care" that the Democrats can´t cheat. They even want to take weapons in theese places. What an election!!! 😭

It's a zoo. But remember Trump does not exist in a vacuum. It's indicative of Republicans who this election are refusing to accept a result that doesn't go their way. It's a freak show. They won't even consider a review for a Supreme Court nominees should Hillary win. They speak of impeachment should she win, and they will fight the results of a fair election should she win.

It's like a 5 year old who takes his ball out of the game and goes home coz the other guy scored

Trump is scary and is still a threat even if he loses. One thing their election cycle did is to empower all types of conspiracy theory wing nuts.

It is difficult to run against a conspiracy. Fight them with the truth and they will deny it. They claim the truth is a lie to cover up yet another conspiracy.

It appeals to primal fears. Them vs. Us.
