With the US election so close to call, and with so much anger (and disbelief) on either side, how will the winner ever bring both sides together?

I think it's too close to call.

Polls say Hillary is very slightly ahead, but with Trump continuing to gain, I think he may win.

He may lose the electoral college thus Hillary will be President Elect, with Trump still winning the majority in the actual popular vote.

Either way, it makes leading difficult. There will be pools of bad blood on either side.

If that happens, how will they lead and bring the country together?

Not that I think either of them believes that is even possible.

We are being lied to by the corporate news media so they can create controversy and sell advertising. I will be very surprised if Trump takes more than four or five states, mostly in the South.

I so hope you are right. Unfortunately, as we have to go somewhat by what they say, I see that Trump is very very close. And angry people are far more likely to vote than indifferent or unexcited people. And Hillary is well experienced, has a vast record, but is just not that exciting!

I pray you're right, and I'm not even religious!

@hunkalove: let's talk Wednesday when the popular vote comes about. You may live in an area that rejects Trump outright. There are millions of Amerians so angry that they will swallow hard, and vote for Trump just to give the middle finger to Washington as it is. A dysfunctional pool of money collectors who have their own futures as lobbyists always in their vision.
