As a real estate developer in America who happens (along with his son in law) to owe a shirt load of money to Russian banks "connected" to the Kremlin, Trump is a perfect patsy to launder Russian crime money outside the country for Putins comfortable retirement. A large amount of Trumps condos and apartments even in Trump Towers were sold to well connected Russians who turn them over regularly amongst each other. Each time the transaction creates clean money. Naturally, this cant go on forever. But when the music stops Trumps name will be on most of the paperwork and the others will be long gone. Once laundered, the money can be used to buy legitimate assets.
