Very good and true. I am sure the socialist liberals will hate this. They aren't smart enough to understand we will end up like Greece, Venezuela, Cuba or some other socialist country that has high inflation a low employment.
@acpguy Wow where to start... Liberalism and Socialism aren't the same. People usually conflate them because they're both left of Conservativism but it's like saying 5 and 20 are both greater than 2 so they're the same.
Second, Greece is a fairly conservative nation (a lot like the US) with liberal leanings (also like the US). However thanks to the strain of the EU and lack of tax paying by its people and the crippling debt of the Athens 2004 games it just couldn't correct itself quick enough and is why they got into such an economic crisis.
Third, Venezuela is a cluster fuck of political issues. Comparing them to the US is like comparing a virus riddled laptop from 1998 to a supercomputer used to help land the rovers on Mars lol there is no worry of a radical coup happening in the US, nor is there ever going to be a strong communist movement. I think the cold war stopped that from ever being a possibility.
As for Cuba, I gotta be honest, I don't know much about their current situation. But I do know that Castro was running the place for like 50 years under communism so again it isn't an issue for the US.
So to summerise, you should look more at countries that are similar to the US. Countries like Canada, UK, France, Australia etc. Ones that share similar wealth, culture and political ideologies. Comparing the US to failed dictatorships or (in Greece's situation) financial anomalies won't give you an accurate prediction of their future.

You are aware of the riots in France I'm sure.
@acpguy Nice ad hominem. The "socialism is coming" fear mongering is a tactic that the US has played for the last 80 odd years. It's not actually gonna happen. Especially when you guys have a two party system and neither wants socialism. The closest you got was with the Democrats having Bernie Sanders who is a progressive (which is a form of social liberalism). But his party and the voters both decided to stick with Hillary Clinton who is not social at all. Now Bernie is an independent candidate because he party don't see eye to eye with his beliefs.
@acpguy We don't have democrats (aka liberals) here. Our two main parties are conservative and social democratic. Also if you are implying that I can't know a country's politics because I'm not from that country then you are being overly naive. You yourself have passed judgement on Greece, Venezuela and Cuba but you aren't from those countries. Your own logic defeats you.
@acpguy Lack education? You know stats paint a pretty bad picture for the US compared with most OECD countries when it comes to education. You guys spend practically nothing in tax payer money helping your schools and instead give it over to military and admin costs. You could cut the defense budget by $500B and it would still be the highest defence budget of any nation. Heck just take 1% of that and bam... Trump now has the money he needs for a wall. Heck take 2% and build another wall along the Canadian border too lol
How about getting your health system under control as well. You spend 3x more than any nation on health yet you don't have a universal healthcare programme. How is it a nation pays more and receives less? And I've seen the quality of care. You guys have longer wait times, higher bills to pay and drugs pushed by big pharma. You even have some hospitals not treat you unless you have insurance. Talk about a madhouse. Maybe if they funded schooling as much as Health or Defence then you'd all realise how flawed these systems are
