I Think That Donald Trump Is Dangerous For This Country

[big]A Traitor and a Fraud[/big]

TRAITOR AND LIAR. It has been revealed that trump was informed weeks before his inauguration that Putin had personally ordered the cyberattack operations against our country and was shown actual text messages between top Russian military and intelligence commanders that both confirm this and in furtherance of this conspiracy. trump knew Putin and Russia had conspired to interfere with the presidential election, a core of our democracy but has lied and denied this to the American people and the world FOR WELL OVER A YEAR.

There are people who have called black football players traitors for taking a knee during the anthem. Failure to hold the PRESIDENT accountable for betraying his oath to our nation, lying and giving support to the leader of the country who ordered an attack on America and democracy reveals how biased, hypocritical and dishonest such people are in their claim to support our country and constitution. STAND UP FOR OUR COUNTRY. NOT A CORRUPT DISHONEST FRAUD WHO BETRAYED OUR NATION AND CONSTITUTION.

The U.S. government under Obama knew what the Russians were doing. Obama was warned repeatedly by Eastern European governments that Russia was meddling in their own elections. And while Latvian elections don’t exactly rank high on the list of an American president’s priorities, the White House could have guessed what the Russians were gearing up to do — and should have sent them a forceful message to knock it off. Obama apparently issued a direct warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin when they met in person in September 2016, but it came too late and had little effect.

@Mamapolo2016 Putin wouldn't listen. He does what he wants. And if people don't like it they die.
@AlmostAnAngel Nobody distinguished themselves in this matter - but fair is fair.
@Mamapolo2016 Fair is fair, but the whatabout here really doesn't seem to be very fair either, with Trump in the White House doing exactly what he was put there to do.

I'm not sure OP is right that Trump is actually a traitor and doubt that he even sees that his agenda serves other countries' interests more than it serves the U.S., but that just shows the problem is real.

Putin is laughing. Sure, maybe he's a bit alarmed at how erratic Trump is, like some who support him domestically, but he won the election, and whether Trump gets a second term or not, it's all good for him and bad for the U.S. and it's allies.
@MistyCee I disagree about it being 'all bad' for the U.S.' It's a little hard on our allies because they are having to work on being allies and not dependents. Growing up is a difficult process always.

One thing I personally learned the hard way is if one gives it all away financially, at the end nobodyf has anything, including the benefactor. There is no more help available brcause the well has gone dry, and the one who helped can't ask for a return because it's all been spent.

Instead of trying to smash President Trump into smithereens, it behooves anyone who does not want a second term with him to present an alternative acceptable to the spectrum of American voters. And they'd best start now.
@Mamapolo2016 Interesting. Trump is about as poor a father figure as I can imagine, but it does paint a better picture than that of an angry toddler screaming that he'll walk away from the game if everyone doesn't let him win.

I guess we'll see how it plays out, but my prediction is, it's not going to go well for the American people or really anyone but wealthy oligarchs and those in bed with them.

As for your last part, I agree in principle with the idea that attacking without putting up an alternative is a bad idea, but I don't expect to see anything from anyone really until after the smoke clears from the midterms and the lines become clearer.
@MistyCee You will not find me touting President Trump as an admirable figure personally.
@Mamapolo2016 I get that, and I'm actually intrigued by the idea of adjusting things like trade and looking at NATO in a different way.

But I've got zero confidence in the man or those who serve him to do it right, and who in their right mind would make a deal with him?

Foreign policy wise, the best thing I see coming out of all this is that Trump rips up some alliances and agreements and the next administration comes in to put new ones together and ends up taking all the credit.

I'm not even going to think about the worst tonight.
