I Hate Donald Trump

In an unprecedented display of incompetence, the Republicans are about to allow the U.S. government to shut down, despite controlling both houses of Congress and the presidency. They do need 9 Democrats to go along with them, or 11 since Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham are not voting for the continuing resolution the House passed yesterday. But this highlights Trump's lack of negotiating skills. He should be calling Senators, twisting arms, making promises, doing whatever he has to do to get the job done.

The Republicans are in charge and they are going to be blamed for this idiocy.

The Libs are more concerned with giving 800,000 illegals (undocumented democrats) free benefits rather than concern themselves with American lives or national security

@LeopoldBloom sorry but that’s been liberal politics since the 70’s ...
@TexChik Regardless, the Repubs control both houses of Congress and the presidency, and their allowing this to happen is unprecedented. Trump should have used his powers of persuasion to get the Democrats on board. He's a terrible leader, nothing but a braggart and a bully. My money is on the Repubs caving in because this failure is 100% on them.

Well you’d like to blame it on republicans but it takes 60 senate votes to
Pass a budget

Not really. They are blaming already the Democrats for it. Whatever Trump is doing or not doing: It's the fault of the Democrats. 😒
@Loretta78 Of course they're blaming the Democrats. If there was only one Democrat in Congress, they would blame him for their own incompetence.

The Republicans are in charge and this is a failure of their leadership.

@LeopoldBloom Certainly it is. But try to explain it to an Republican.
They remember me on the three monkeys:
🙈🙉🙊
